Things Women like That Men Think Are Unattractive
Everyone has specific traits or qualities that they find attractive or unattractive in a person.
But just because you personally find one trait unattractive doesn’t mean others think the same. Who knows, that one trait you are insecure about may be a point of attraction for others.
Women can have some of the most unexpected reasons as to why they find a man attractive, being a morning person, or having a poker face.
If you’re a guy who doesn’t think there’s much to like about him, you might be surprised.
Here are a few more examples of what men don’t realize are actually attractive to women:
- Showing their flaws
Not all women fall for the James Bond-suave kind of guy. Some like their men to have endearing flaws such as having a bit of clumsiness.
Women find it comforting when a guy they like isn’t Mr. Perfect. They feel less pressure to keep up to their level.
Perfection can be intimidating at times. You can’t help but feel insecure when you’re placed beside someone whose qualities are a stark contrast from yours.
Men who are not afraid to admit their imperfections are a lot more relatable. Hence, it’s easier for a lot of women to approach them.
- Vulnerability
It is common for women to assume that their boyfriends don’t care about them simply because they keep silent. They do care — they just don’t like talking about their feelings.
It’s why they really appreciate it when a man opens up about his struggles. That vulnerability makes them attractive in their eyes.
If a guy is brave enough to talk about his feelings, then he is brave enough to express his love and affection for his girlfriend.
But if a guy is unwilling to express his emotions, then he’s just like every other guy and unlikely to stand out.
- When he loves to talk about his hobbies
For the most part, the only people guys talk about their hobbies with are other guys — particularly if those hobbies are particularly niche or nerdy.
This is mainly because they’re afraid of being shamed for their hobbies and interests.
A lot of guys assume that talking about their hobbies turns off women, that when they start talking about Dungeons and Dragons or Star Wars, a woman starts losing her interest.
But not all women are turned off by a guy geeking out about the things he enjoys. Some of them actually like it when guys start talking about it, even if they don’t share their passion.
- Not being concerned about appearing masculine
Men and women define masculinity very differently.
Some guys think that in order to be masculine, they have to be strong and robust. Girls, on the other hand, find it masculine when a man doesn’t care about gender norms.
They find it manly when a straight guy is not afraid of being perceived to be feminine. Things like dressing well, doing skincare, or even being affectionate.
They are completely secure in their skin, and women like that.
